(Resources for English-Speaking Parents of Japanese/Western Bicultural Children)
Welcome to Mia`s Bicultural Bedtime. I am the mother of two, Japanese/American Biracial daughters. I have found that Bedtime is one of the tricky language times of the day.
Where to sleep? What books to read? What songs to sing? What language to use? Which culture to represent?
It is my hope that these pages will be a resource for other parents with similiar questions.
Please feel free to write me with your comments or questions. I would love to hear how other Bicultural families handle bedtime.
